eyeliner faq
Permanent eyeliner is a cosmetic tattoo that enhances your lash line and eyes with pigment, giving the look of perfectly applied eyeliner that doesn’t smudge or wash off.
Results typically last 2–5 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-ups are recommended every 3 years to maintain a fresh look.
We use a medical-grade topical numbing agent to keep you comfortable during the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild scratching or tickling feeling.
Initial healing takes about 5–7 days. Pigment will appear darker at first, then soften as the skin heals. Full healing and color stabilization can take 4–6 weeks. No products are to touch the area for the duration.
● Lash Enhancement: A subtle pigment placed between the lashes for a natural, fuller lash look.
● Classic Eyeliner: A defined line along the lash line, soft or bold.
● Winged/Smoky Style: More dramatic options depending on preference and suitability.
● Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications (unless prescribed by your doctor) 24 hours before.
● Remove lash extensions prior to your appointment.
● Arrive with clean eyes and no makeup.
● No contact lenses.
Mild swelling or redness may occur for 1–2 days. Pigment will appear darker at first, then lighten as it heals. Small scabs or flaking are normal—avoid picking to ensure proper healing. No product around or on the area for a week.
Avoid eye makeup/products for at least 7–10 days during healing to prevent infection and pigment loss. Once healed, you can wear makeup as usual.
Your complimentary eyeliner touch-up appointment should be scheduled immediately after your initial session. The ideal time for this appointment is between 6 to 8 weeks following your first procedure. Booking before 6 weeks is not recommended, as your eyeliner area may still be healing and sensitive, which can cause additional discomfort. It is your responsibility to ensure your touch-up is booked in advance, as appointments can fill quickly due to cancellations and rescheduling. Your complimentary touch-up is valid for up to 3 months from your initial appointment date. If this period is exceeded, the touch-up fee will be $105 before 1 year. Please note that any additional touch-ups beyond this time frame will be subject to additional fees based on how long it has been since your first appointment. We recommend booking your touch-up before leaving your initial appointment to secure your preferred time.
